Regina owns and manages the Law Offices of Regina Y. Kane located in Virginia Beach . The law offices specialize in immigration law. Her knowledge and training as a District Adjudication Officer with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) allows her to know exactly what the government agency is looking for, and how they are likely to respond to any particular case.
Regina began her career as an environment attorney in October 1993 with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. A year later, she moved to the 3rd Judicial District Public Defender’s office as a trial attorney. She later left Kansas and relocated
to the east coast where she worked as a decision writer for administrative law judges with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability, Adjudication and Review. In July 2001, Regina accepted a position with the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) as a District Adjudication Officer in the Washington District Office. She attended the prestigious Immigration Officer Academy at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and was trained as an Adjudication/Asylum Officer. She assisted the office with its transition from Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to the Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services. After two years of working with the agency she moved on to start her immigration law practice.
